volume one | issue nineteen

A simple and quick little issue today. One of the things I want to have happen with this newsletter is a nice balance between long and short content. This week is short and sweet.

Remember the one little word challenge back in January?

Some super talented women took that challenge to heart and have created a new blog called one little word that issues creative challenges based on the power of words. I am planning to join in on the challenges when I can - and am seriously considering doing those challenges in an art journal.

Awesome job ladies!

Peace,
Ali

weekly challenge

This week, go check out the new one little word challenge blog and participate. Create something based on their first word: go. They even have a cool contest going on over there to kick things off right.

inspired by

: Penelope illustration blog. Lots and lots of interesting, beautiful, make you think stuff in there - make sure to check out her awesome page of inspiration.

: Clear acrylic albums from Diana Reeves. My upcoming book has a project using one of these albums. Love them.
